Zefal HPX #4 Frame Pump 59-64cm Silver Reviews
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful Great pump, March 23, 2011 This review is from: Zefal HPX #4 Frame Pump 59-64cm Silver (Misc.) I recently bought this pump to replace my Specialized Air tool. It attaches /detaches to the valve stem very easily. It pumps very easily and I can get up to 100+psi very easily, it will take about 100-120 strokes to get up that high but it does so quickly and you don't need to be a body builder to pump it even at high pressure. It is also fast. The specialized Air tool is a good emergency pump. The Zefal is a great pump that you will not dread having to use.
I would advise getting the Zefal doodads pump straps and use at least one so you don't accidently knock it off your frame. I have mine mounted under my top tube and it fits well. I have a steel bike with a slim top tube and it fully covers the pump with no risk of my knees hitting it so it would work fine on a bike with over sized tubes. The directions on the package call for it to be stored on the seat tube which would work but then you lose a water bottle.

I was previously using a Park pump similar to this one. After a couple of months of usage, that one first cracked (so that I couldn't mount it anymore) and then fell apart. For the record, I don't leave my pump on the bike when I lock it up because they are easily stolen, so my pumps get a bit of abuse now and then. In contrast, the Zefal pump is built of solid metal and very little plastic. I've used it once for a flat tire, and it worked great.
Great pump, September 1, 2011 By icardjack "Chief" (North Carolina) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Zefal HPX #4 Frame Pump 59-64cm Silver (Misc.) I have owned a pump like this over 25 years ago, they still make a quality product. Light weight and easy to use, fits on frame with no mounting bracket. Just carry a spare tube and/or a patch kit and you can repair a flat in a matter of minutes.
