Ritchey WCS Carbon one bolt 27.2 x 350mm post Reviews
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful Great Post, September 9, 2009 By This review is from: Ritchey WCS Carbon 1-Bolt Road Bicycle Seatpost (Misc.) I've put a few hundred miles on this post now...so I'm comfortable giving my review. For $200 this was an expensive post, but I was drawn by the Ritchey name, the beautiful look of their carbon, but primarily the one-bolt system. I was concerned with another review I read, but ended up finding none of those problems. Ritchey did recall this post for inferior carbon, so check with your supplier to insure yours is a post recall seatpost. I'm a 6' average build guy. For my seat height the graphics were fully visible. Installing the seat was easy and I'm very happy with ease of adjustment. I've had no seat slipping issues...it stays put. I did have some difficulty inserting the seatpost...primarily because I used Ritchey liquid torque on the post. I'd recommend against this. You'll get the post about 3 inches in and it won't budge from there. Maybe a conceit having spent this much money on a post, but I think it rides smoother than the carbon post I replaced
Nice and light, April 11, 2010 By Lou P "loup407" (USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Ritchey WCS Carbon 1-Bolt Road Bicycle Seatpost (Misc.) This seat post is all a seat post should be, really light and just stiff enough. My only complaint is, as delivered, it wouldn't fit any of my saddles, with ovalized rails. I had to buy a separate kit for the seat post in order fir it to work with my saddle. Although Ritchey isn't the only manufacture designing seatposts this way; I think of all companies, they should have a more universal design. Would I buy this seatpist again? Yes.

This review is from: Ritchey WCS Carbon 1-Bolt Road Bicycle Seatpost (Misc.) I find it hilarious that people are willing to spend 200 dollars on a seatpost. This is a tube with a collar and bolt attached. This is not quite as ludicrous as spending 2000 dollars on a wheelset that needs to be trued every 200 miles because of "exact tolerances", and may explode if you crash during a hard fought cat 4 road race.
