Extremely reliable, June 25, 2011 By  Steven M. Swartzlander - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) This review is from: NiteRider TriNewt Li-Ion Battery ORMD (Misc.) I've used the Trinewt for several years now, and it's been rock-solid in all weather conditions. I commute by bike year round, and the Trinewt is the best headlight I've used. Unfortunately, it's the nature of batteries to lose efficiency over many recharges, and also in very cold weather. After a few years of daily recharges, I found that after running the battery on high for a one-hour commute in temperatures in the teens, I'd get a low-battery warning by the time I got to work, so I replaced it.
