This review is from: Selle Royal Respiro Gel Relaxed Mens Black ICS (Misc.) Typically I'm not a fan of Gel saddles as they only feel comfortable for short trips but then fatigue settles in the seat becomes unbearable, which isn't good on a long ride. This seat is very comfortable and on long rides it can become uncomfortable but getting up off the seat for a few seconds now and then returns you to a very comfortable saddle unlike so many other Gel seats. I was worried about the size as this seat was mounted on a Road bike but it looks great and isn't too big, it is truly the Cadillac of seats. I replaced a $150 Selle Race saddle for this seat and I love the Race saddle but for long trips or just joy rides this is the way to go! Gel saddle was my favorite but gel effect wears out after 30 minute ride. this saddle feels hard at first, I still feel comfortable after an hour ride.
